Heart failure

• 1 Tablet OD (Telapp-MT 25) (starting dose in new patients)
• The dosage may be increased at weekly (or longer) intervals until optimum blood pressure reduction is achieved i.e. < 140/90 mm of Hg
• Increase dose to Telapp - MT 50 if BP > 140/90 mm of Hg
• Look out for BP, BP<110/60 mm of Hg; Hear rate <60 revert to Telapp-MT 25
• Continue indefinitely on tolerated dose.

Ischemic Heart Disease

• Start low, go slow
• Dosage ofTeIapp-MT must be individualized
• 1 Tablet OD (Telapp-MT 50) (starting dose in new patients)
• Gradually increased at weekly intervals until optimum clinical response has been obtained or there is a pronounced slowing of the heart rate
• Look out for BP, BP<110/60 mm of Hg; Heart rate <60 revert to TeIapp-MT 25
• If treatment is to be discontinued, the dosage should be reduced gradually over a period of 1-2 weeks.
• Continue indefinitely on tolerated dose.

Heart failure

• Dosage must be individualized and closely monitored during up-titration
• 1 Tablet OD (Telapp-MT 25) (starting dose in new patients) for two weeks in patients with NYHA Class II heart failure.
• The dose should then be doubled every two weeks to the highest dosage level tolerated by the patient.
• Caution : Look out for BP, BP<110/60 mm of Hg; Heart rate < 60 revert to TeIapp-MT 25 OD
• Continue indefinitely on tolerated dose.

Indications

• Hypertension associated with Ischemic Heart Disease (Angina Pectoris, Myocardial infarction)
• Hypertension associated with MI
• Hypertension associated with Heart Failure
• Ischemic Heart Disease (Angina Pectoris, Myocardial Infarction)

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of Telapp-MT
• Asthma
• Heart Block
• Peripheral Vascular Disease
• Bilateral renal artery stenosis
• Pregnancy
• Lactation
